October 19, 1427. I just had another dream about Leonora. I tried
taking a cold shower, but it didn't do any good, I was still
cabaletta-ing it. I don't understand why she suddenly started
dissing me today. Why just last week, at that really wild party,
when
we got roaring drunk and started rolling around on the floor
together ... That was something else! Of course, the entire court
was laughing at us, but what did we care???
Still no luck finding my brother. Maybe he really is dead ... though
pa
was getting a bit senile. Too much laudanum will do that to you.
Urgel's promising a mega-tax cut if he gets to be king. Who does he
think he's fooling? His "rebellion" is all about greed, greed,
greed, greed.
Meanwhile, I'd better get counselling for my gypsyphobia.

Venerdì, Ottobre 20, 1427. Ah! What luck! I stumbled upon my
secret
love
Count De Luna a few days ago, lunching with his hounds in the
Great Park. I dropped the magic love potion into his leather wine
bag,
as instructed by Ciava, the gypsy witch. I hope he dreams of me
soon.
Last
night's costumed fete at Lord Este's was quite entertaining. I
sat
with my ladies for Papa refuses to let me dance until married.
How
I would lose my head and dance with my Count. Papa says that
the
Count's blood may be blue but that it runs cold and is tinted
with madness.
Tomorrow is Saint Orsola the Virgin's Day. My mother and our ladies
shall go to church and sew with the Sisters. I most try very hard
not
to think of the Count. Surely my heaving bosom will give me
away.

Ok
diary, I goofed. I have not been thinking with my head. But, I
have
always had a preference for fiery Irish maidens and this one is
a princess and knows how to make a wild martini!
We
have a date tonight while the uncle and company go on a hunt. I
don't know what I'm going to do with the uncle. We better be careful
with
the poison ivy too. Remember the last time? Sighhhhhhhhh.
P.S.
- I hope we can ditch her companion, she gives me the creeps.

SR has perhaps needed a leetle pepping up, lately ...
October 21, 1427: Wow! I never had a night like THAT before!!
Wooo-GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [Due to mature theme, I have had to leave
out a large portion of this diary. I regret the inconvenience.]
Gave a new meaning to the word, "serenade."
The only thing that's annoying me now is this terminally callow
pop star that's been hanging around in the nieghbourhood lately,
Rockin' Rico. He seems infatuated with my Leonessa (because she
makes love like a lioness; WOOOOOOOOOO-gah! Mohoho!!) Don't like
his politics either. Buys all that right-wing states-rights Urgel
cruddola. That guy is so sad. I tried teaching him basic
librettese. "No no no no!!" I said. "It's 'sciagurato' if you're a
boy-person, 'sciagurata' if you're a girl-person." "Uh,
shaggy-what??" Favorite topic: skateboards. He doesn't stand a
chance.
I don't just "not like" gypsies. I saw a book about Gypsy the Cat,
and had to be restrained from ripping it up -- and I love cats
(especially lionesses -- moho-GAH!!)
No premature cabaletta this time, either ...

22: I knew it! I was waiting to "serenade" Leonora, when along
comes Rockin' Rico, and goes off on a pro-Urgel rant about
privatizing the Inquisition! Puuuuuuuuuuh-LEEEZE! We don't even HAVE
the
Inquisition in Aragon, I desperately tried to explain. Then he
starts trying to gaga Leonessa. I rather lost it and gave the clown
the
back of my sword, and he ran away yelling, "Momm-EE!" I almost
felt sorry for the little creep. He's probably a gypsy.
I
wish I could gauge Leonora's feelings better, but she's so ...
inscrutable. I'll talk to Freudando about it while we're discussing
my issue with gypsies.

October 23: Her father found out about the wogah and is sending
Leonora to a convent. I think not! Leonora è mia! Abduction
plans
are
already under way. I hear rumors that Rico might try something.
If he does, I won't just use the flat of my sword this time.

October 30, 1437: Duns Scotus is wrong, I told Rico today. Have to
spell everything out with that one. He just does not grasp the
debate about the intellect vs. the will. Speaking of will ....
Nov.
1: I'm ready to abduct her ... wogah wogah woooooooooooo-GAH!
I'm
not sure I'll be able to hold it in unless I sing an aria. I see
her now; sorry, diary, gotta run remove some veils.
Wogah is not only a word, but a philosophy of life.
