Most of the Balrog terms used here are in Balrog-pidgin, sometimes called Tyopese after Tyope, the Goddess of Being Weird. Among these are mlorat (mortal), hmunsa (human), ruggle (non-balrog). Another such term is “bha!”, used by Balrogs to exress mild annoynce with lesser beings. Among themselves, however, Balrogs speak a far more euphonious language, Classical Balrog, whereof we give a few examples here.

Balrog verbs inflect not only for person and number, but for whether the subject is a balrog, a non-balrog ainu, or anything else. For balrogs, the verb gives the exact number of balrogs, and there's also a form for all balrogs, which a balrog uses for 1st person singular when addressing non-balrogs.
Verbs also automatically provide a value judgement (properly, politely, civilly, graciously, rudely, improperly, etc.) and aesthetic judgement (elegantly, with éclat, boringly, disgustingly, etc.).
And verbs whose subject is a balrog also indicate by what means the action was done:
- with a tool or slave - with a limb or appendage - with heat - with flame - with slime - and with one of 6 different types of magic, not counting heat (I can't say which, because non-balrogs wouldn't understand).

If you change the final ! into ¦, the meaning changes to "... lilac banana ...", which has completely different connotations.
